Steven Leone Joins Spiezle Architectural Group

Adds Senior Care Studio and Sustainable Design Expertise

Trenton, NJ – Steven Leone, AIA, LEEDap, NJ joins Spiezle Architectural Group as Principal and head of the newly established Senior Care design studio.

Leone has more than 25 years of progressive experience in the field of architecture. His varied expertise encompasses the management and design of senior care, education, public works, and restaurants, and he is well known in the industry for his sustainable design expertise.

“Steve brings a wealth of design knowledge, sustainable principles, and business development acumen, and we welcome him to our leadership team. Throughout his career, Leone has always displayed a deep passion for architecture and sustainable design. Prior to joining Spiezle, he served as the Director of Sustainable Design for Cubellis Inc., where he established and managed a local office, developed and nurtured numerous significant clients for whom he provided award-winning design, and created and led a sustainable design culture for the international, multi-office firm. He is a Past Chair of the US Green Building Council – New Jersey, as well as active in their speakers’ bureau. He is a member of the AIA Committee on the Environment (COTE), the Urban Land Institute, and the Dean’s Executive Council for the School of Architecture at NJIT, among others. He regularly speaks on sustainable design and its applicability to various building types and is well known throughout the industry for his contributions.

Leone received his Bachelor of Architecture from New Jersey Institute of Technology. He resides in Freehold, NJ with his wife and two children.
