MENTOR MATCHING PROGRAM

May 5, 2009

Reading Time: < 1 minute

In lieu of AIA’s dedication to nurturing the Emerging Professional, AIA-NJ is launching a ‘Mentor Matching’ program. Through this program we will be doing our best to match mentor’s and protégé’s with similar interests, design philosophy, etc. Our hope is that by doing so, it will eliminate some of the initial awkwardness that can occur between a “seasoned veteran” and a “rookie”.

Confidentiality is an absolute requirement for both the mentor and the protégé, regarding both professional and personal issues. Therefore both parties will be asked to sign a Mentoring Code of Ethics form before embarking on their journey. If you are interested in signing up for this program, either as a mentor or protégé, please
contact AIA New Jersey’s Emerging Professionals committee at ep@aia-nj.org.
