In Memoriam – Richard Rivardo AIA

Richard B. Rivardo, died on July 16, 2015 of Cliffside Park, NJ, age 89. Richard was born in Jersey City, NJ and before retiring was an architect with Rivardo Schnitzer and Capazzi Associates, Cliffside Park, NJ. He was also a United States Army Veteran of WWII.

Additionally, Richard was a member of American Institute of Architects and a member of White Beeches Country Club in Haworth, NJ. Beloved husband to Marie (nee Ciaramello). Devoted father to the late Robyn Cerritelli (2007) and her husband Matthew, Jill Cataldi and her husband John, Michael Nani and his wife Laura, Paula Greco and her husband Kevin, Thomas Nani and his wife Patty. Loving brother to Margarita Zampino. Cherished grandfather to Corine and Matthew Cerritelli, Jaclyn and Jenna Cataldi, Brian Nani, Jennifer Santry, Michael and Eva Greco, Marissa, Steven, and Lauren Nani. Richard is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral was held at the A.K. Macagna Funeral Home 495 Anderson Ave., Cliffside Park, NJ on Tuesday July 21, 2015, and St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Fairview, NJ. Entombment followed at Madonna Mausoleum, Fort Lee, NJ.  See obituary here.
