Equity in Workplace Culture Seminar at Garden State Tile Princeton Showroom is Well Received

On Sunday, June 2, 2019, Garden State Tile hosted the AIA NJ Equity Committee in their beautiful new showroom at 203 Nassau Street in Princeton, NJ. The event was held to present a new seminar on Equity in Workplace Culture based on the AIA Guides to Equity. The speakers included (L-R) Karen Nichols, FAIA; Suzanne Sowinski, AIA and Stacey Ruhle Kliesch, AIA. The Garden State Tile Showroom Manager is Nicole Doran.

Ms. Doran opened the showroom on a Sunday especially for AIA NJ to visit for this event. Attendees had the opportunity to explore the materials and displays while enjoying refreshments provided by Garden State Tile.

Ms. Kliesch presented materials from the AIA Guide to Equity in Workplace Culture while Ms. Nichols and Ms. Sowinski supported the data with real firm examples and experience in Workplace Culture Equity from their extensive careers. The whole program was very well received with audience members asking for more access to this type of material.

The showroom is open and welcomes you to visit. Find more information on Garden State Tile and the showroom here. E-mail Nicole Doran with questions or to place an order: ndoran@gstile.com.

This seminar is second in a series of 9 being offered by AIA NJ. The next program is on July 11 in Egg Harbor Township on Equity in Compensation. Registration is now open and closes on July 3.
