In Memoriam: Alfred Belle

ALFRED A BELLE

JUNE 3, 1932 – DECEMBER 25, 2018

Alfred Azerno Belle was born June 3, 1932 in Patterson, New Jersey to parents Ralph Belle and Frances Picazio Belle. He passed away on Christmas Day, December 25, 2018 at the age of 86, surrounded by family.

A United States Army veteran of the Korean War, he is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Ermelinda, and his only sister, Lorraine Van Baulen, stepchildren and grandchildren, niece and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

He majored in Architecture at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and had a long career as an architect until he retired to Spring Hill, Florida in the late 1990s. Al’s passion were many – pottery, sketching, painting, photography, gardening, golf, a love of classical music and watching movies. Al was laid to rest with military honors at Miramar National Cemetery, San Diego, California where a small service was held for his family and close friends.
