AIA New Jersey Offers Seminars

on 2018 IBC and 2018IRC, NJ Editions

 

As of September 3, 2019, New Jersey adopted the 2018 IBC, NJ Edition and the 2018 IRC, NJ Edition
By March 3, 2020, all submitted projects must conform to these new codes.
AIA New Jersey is offering seminars on these new codes.

SEMINAR November 19th:

Significant changes to the 2018 IRC, New Jersey

Participants will be made aware of some of the fine points of the New Jersey edition of the 2018 IRC. Included will be information concerning the changes in the Residential code that are specific to New Jersey. In addition to a comprehensive handout, 2-page IRC plan review checklist will be provided to help anyone checking the drawings for compliance prior to submittal. Many of the new requirements for decks will be discussed as well.

SEMINAR November 20th:

Let’s take a look at the NJ Edition of the 2018 IBC

Participants will be made aware of some of the fine points of the New Jersey edition of the 2018 IBC. Included will be information concerning the changes in the code that are specific to New Jersey. In addition to a comprehensive handout, an abbreviated 2-page plan review checklist will be provided to help anyone checking the drawings for compliance prior to submittal. In addition to changes, the topics will include height and area calculations review along with examples.
