Save the Date for the 2020 AIA New Jersey Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Seminars

This year, the last three AIA New Jersey Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Seminars based on the AIA National Guides to Equitable Practice will be offered.

Upcoming Schedule:

The first is scheduled for Wednesday, July 29. Equity Chair Stacey Kliesch, AIA, will be presenting a two-hour program on Advancing Careers with guest speakers Carla Bonacci, AIA, and Paul Rugarber, AIA.

On Wednesday, September 9, Susan Pikaart Bristol, AIA, will join Stacey for 120 minutes on Engaging Community.

The nine-part series will wrap up on Wednesday, October 21 with 2 continuing education units available for a program on Measuring Progress.

All programs are scheduled as Zoom webinars from 5:30 – 7:30PM and will include AIA credit, pending approval.

Why Attend?

Now, more than ever, firms, sole practitioners, the profession and our communities are eager to examine our practices, perspectives and history in order to take steps to increase the equity of all our relationships and those of our clients and other building users.  This series provides participants with data on current circumstances, true best practices and the opportunity to discuss actual business and personal situations as the group develops strategies to increase equity, diversity and inclusion.

Please save the dates and look for registration notices for all three of our remaining seminars.
