Dana Nalbantian, Associate AIA, named the American Institute of Architects New Jersey Chapter Associate AIA Service Award Winner of the Year

Completing more than 20 million square feet throughout her career, Dana exemplifies commitment to the architecture and design industry. Through her service and her projects, she has raised the bar for the build environment.

Dana exemplifies all the qualities of a consummate professional and leader in the architecture industry. In addition to AIA New Jersey, Dana is actively involved in both NAIOP New Jersey and CoreNet New Jersey, stepping into numerous leadership positions within both organizations over the last seven years. In her roles with CoreNet New Jersey including president, executive board member and chair for the Women’s Special Interest Group, she has contributed significant volunteer hours organizing committees, planning and moderating events and connecting industry professionals. Her involvement with these groups have enabled her to create valuable relationships and she has developed a deeper passion for the issues we as architects and designers aim to solve.

As a principal and studio director, Dana fosters a supportive learning experience for her teams, constantly monitoring individuals’ professional development to help them meet their full potential. This attitude extends toward her colleagues at all levels. Dana is a collaborator, builds consensus, and inspires her teams to bring creative solutions to clients’ challenges.
