José Andrés – Day 1 Keynote:

Values-Based Leadership

José Andrés represents a model of independent success parlayed into a values-driven enterprise. Named one of Time’s 100 Most Influential People and a Humanitarian of the Year by the James Beard Foundation, José says food helps communities in crisis—and is a pillar of national security.

He leads by example through his nonprofit World Central Kitchen. The chef-owner of ThinkFoodGroup, he advocates for justice and equity as business models, not buzzwords.

José will discuss our shared obligation to each other and balancing purpose-driven achievement with the creative drive of design. We are all in business, says Andrés, but we must also be in business for all.
