AIA New Jersey Seeks Members’ Assistance In Getting Emergency Assistance MOU Approved Across The State

With the increasing frequency and severity of storms that cause significant damage and overwhelm building officials, AIA New Jersey would like to be ready to lend our help.  To that end, we have drafted a Memorandum of Understanding which would provide the mechanism for municipalities to ask us for assistance in assessing damage in the event of an emergency while protecting us from liability.

If you have a strong relationship with a county or municipal government and could assist in introducing our MOU for consideration, please contact AIA NJ through Laura Slomka at lslomka@njpsi.com and request a copy of the Emergency Assistance MOU. AIA New Jersey is looking to have our Emergency Assistance memorandum of understanding (MoU) approved by as many counties and municipalities of NJ as possible to enable AIA NJ to be of assistance in the event of a future emergency. Thank you!
