Resident of the Year Warren Wolf (Microsol Resources)

Associate of the Year Megan M. O’Donnell, Assoc. AIA
Megan’s active engagement with AIA, including her current AIA JS Treasurer service, is commendable. Her strong letters of support and enthusiastic advocacy make her a deserving Associate of the Year candidate. She has devoted much of her time to developing the AIA Jersey Shore organization.
Architecture Firm of the Year PDR Designs (accepted by Principal Paul D. Rugarber, AIA)
PDR has a strong portfolio of Jersey Shore area projects, and as the prior 2017 AIA JS Firm of the Year, they are well known and respected within the Section.
Young Architect of the Year Jason L. Vico, AIA, NCARB (Presented by AIA NJ President Brian Penschow, AIA)
Jason’s commitment to and leadership of AIA JS this past year has been outstanding. His rapid ascent from 2019 AIA JS Associate of the Year to his current service as 2024 Section President is laudable. He is a positive role model for other emerging architects in AIA to emulate.
Architect of the Year Angelica Arent, AIA NCARB
Angelica’s dedication to architecture and her unique journey to becoming a Latina voice of the profession make her a positive role model and worthy recipient of the 2024 AIA JS Architect of the Year award. Her strong letters of support and balance of accomplishment as an architect in practice and advocate for equity in architecture are notable.
Distinguished Service Award Matthew Pultorak, AIA, MBA
Matt’s service to AIA JS and AIA NJ over recent years, including this year, has been distinguished indeed. As a two-time prior AIA JS Young Architect winner he has grown into a respected leader within our profession and within AIA. Matt’s diverse work experience, community service, devotion to mentorship, and betterment of young architects are all noteworthy qualities.
Congratulations to all the winners! We look forward to your bright futures in our industry.
