Are You Working on The World Cup Coming To New Jersey in 2026?

AIA New Jersey is interested in sharing stories on the architecture and infrastructure projects underway specific to the World Cup coming to New Jersey in 2026.

MetLife Stadium has been selected as the venue for the FIFA World Cup 26 final. This iconic stadium will stage the biggest-ever World Cup on Sunday, 19 July 2026.

The multipurpose stadium which opened in 2010, currently hosts the NFL’s New York Giants and New York Jets, as well as the XFL’s New York Guardians and was the venue for the final of the 2016 Copa America Centenario, when Chile defeated Lionel Messi’s Argentina on penalties.

If you are working on or know of projects that are underway to support the large influx of traffic that will be associated with the World Cup final, please email staceykliesch@gmail.com.
