You Can Provide Feedback on the Draft of the New Jersey State Plan

The State Planning Commission has unveiled the long-anticipated preliminary update to the New Jersey State Development and Redevelopment Plan (State Plan)

You can help make the State Plan update a success by providing feedback on the draft Plan, via email at stateplan.comments@sos.nj.gov or in person, at one of a series of upcoming public meetings, one in each of New Jersey’s 21 counties. These gatherings offer an opportunity for residents, community leaders, and government officials to learn about the Plan, understand how the cross-acceptance process works, and share their input.

All county meetings have now been scheduled. Meetings in the following counties have recently been added to the State Planning Commission Public Meeting schedule:

  • Camden, on March 4
  • Hunterdon, on March 6
  • Passaic, on March 10
  • Burlington, on March 11
  • Ocean, on March 13
  • Atlantic, on March 13
  • Middlesex, on March 24
  • Gloucester, on March 25
  • Cape May, on March 26
  • Sussex, on March 28
  • Monmouth, on March 31
  • Bergen, on April 1
  • Hudson, on April 9

Check the Update to State Development and Redevelopment Plan page in the item about the 2025 County Public Meeting schedule for meeting times and locations.
