1st Place B&W: “Timeless Corridor” at Princeton University by Keerthi Karri, AIA
This black-and-white photo captures a timeless, gothic-style corridor at Princeton University. The long, vaulted passageway is lined with intricately carved stone arches and ribbed ceilings that create a rhythmic sense of perspective. On the right, tall windows framed by tracery arches allow light to spill into the hallway, casting soft shadows that highlight the textures of the stonework. The symmetry of the corridor draws the eye toward a distant doorway at the end, evoking a sense of quiet academic reverence and historical depth that is characteristic of Princeton’s architecture.
Honorable Mention B&W: “Church ramp” in Cape May by Salvatore Tomasiello, AIA
Congratulations to our winners and thank you to everyone who participated!
Sincerely,
