We invite you to our Cannabis Facility Construction webinar on February 6, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, providing a high-level introduction to the complexities of the cannabis facility construction industry, with a focus on designing and developing high-performance facilities.

Cannabis Facility Construction is a course developed to provide a high-level introduction to the vastness and complexities defining the industry of cannabis facility design. Through completion of the course, learners will be able to understand the considerations necessary for the development of high-performance facilities. The course will provide insight to the various types of facilities that are standard within the cannabis industry. The course further examines the complexities and considerations for developing designs that optimize performance and efficiency while maintaining conformance with codes and cGMP standards. The course examines the various systems and equipment that are prevalent in the industry along with their use based on a variety of different cultivation methodologies. The cost of construction and considerations for project phasing are also addressed.
Examine the types of facilities supporting the cultivation, manufacturing, and distribution of the industry’s products.
Explore options for materials, systems, and equipment as related to cost, performance, methodologies, and best practice.
Identify best practices for facility layout, function, and flow as related to efficiency, code, and cGMP standards.
Examine the construction cost associated with cannabis facilities and it’s impact on business planning (CapEx / OpEx / Revenue).
Speakers
Sam Andras is the EVP of Professional Services for urban-gro, a fully integrated architectural, engineering, construction management and cultivation systems company focused on delivering complete design-build solutions to the indoor CEA and Commercial sectors. Andras has completed over 150 projects in the CEA sector over his 20 year career designing for both the public and private sectors.
