#FlatArchitect Delly Yaker, AIA, and #FlatArchitect Elina Shchervinsky, AIA, Take on the AIA 25 EXPO!
June 4-7, 2025, two fabulous flatties were escorted to the AIA 25 EXPO in Boston, Massachusetts, by AIA New Jersey Public Awareness co-chair William J. Martin, AIA.

AIA New Jersey members were excited to see the familiar faces, colleagues from home, touring the expo floor!
The campaign’s goal is to bring attention to AIA events, conferences, and other gatherings by having #FlatArchitect participate in them and share photos on social media. The idea was conceived by Brian Penschow, AIA, Marissa Iamello, AIA, and William Martin, AIA. The first #FlatArchitect was taken to the AIA Grassroots event in New Orleans, where it was photographed with attendees and shared on social media. The campaign has expanded to include other AIA NJ members and has been featured at various events, including the AIA National Convention and building tours. #FlatArchitect has successfully generated social media buzz around AIA events and has helped raise awareness of the organization and its activities.
