The AIA New Jersey Equity in Architecture Committee is excited to share some wonderful news — the Guides for Equitable Practice Activation Kit is now available!
Developed by the AIA Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Strategies team, in collaboration with the original authors—Renee Cheng, FAIA, Dean of the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts and Senior Vice Provost at Arizona State University, and Nancy Alexander, Principal of Lumenance Consulting LLC—the Kit was created in response to requests for practical tools to introduce the Guides to the next generation of the profession as well as prompt discussion and action during challenging times.
The Activation Kit includes slide decks and facilitation guides designed to help integrate equity, diversity, and inclusion practices into meetings, trainings, leadership development, and more.
We hope these resources will make it easier to spark conversations, inspire learning, and create lasting impact across the profession.
