AIA New Jersey Service Awards Open for Submissions

 
The AIA NJ annual Service Awards are given to recognize accomplishments of individuals and firms that have provided distinguished service to the profession and to the Society.  
 
They are designed to focus on the accomplishments of members and non-members on issues of public awareness of the built environment, service to the community and other non-design aspects of Architecture.
 
 

The AIA NJ Young Architect of the Year Award

Description of Award/Eligibility
This award recognizes individuals who have made demonstrated exceptional leadership and made significant contributions to the architecture profession. AIA New Jersey members who are in good standing and have been licensed to practice architecture for ten years or less by the submission deadline are eligible. AIA New Jersey members from any local section may self nominate or sponsor a candidate. A broader range of support for a candidate is shown when the candidate has a sponsor nominate them.
 

The AIA NJ Resident of the Year Award

Description of Award/Eligibility
This award recognizes individuals who have made demonstrated exceptional leadership and made significant contributions to the architecture profession. New Jersey residents who are not licensed architects are eligible and can self-nominate. AIA New Jersey members from any local section may sponsor a candidate. A broader range of support for a candidate is shown when the candidate has a sponsor nominate them.
 

The AIA NJ Firm of the Year Award

Description of Award/Eligibility
This award recognizes a firm that has produced notable architecture and made an impact on the architectural profession. Architectural / Engineering, or Architect led Design / Build firms located in New Jersey are eligible. AIA New Jersey members from any local section may self nominate their own firm or sponsor a firm award candidate.
 

The AIA NJ Distinguished Service Award

Description of Award/Eligibility
This award recognizes individuals who have made demonstrated exceptional leadership and made significant contributions to the architecture profession. AIA New Jersey members who are in good standing are eligible. Architectural licensure is not a prerequisite for this award. AIA New Jersey members from any local section may self nominate or sponsor a candidate. A broader range of support for a candidate is shown when the candidate has a sponsor nominate them.
 

The AIA NJ Associate of the Year Award

Description of Award/Eligibility
This award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and made significant contributions to the architecture profession. AIA New Jersey members who are in good standing who have not received an architectural license in any jurisdiction by the submission deadline are eligible. AIA New Jersey members from any local section may self nominate or sponsor a candidate. A broader range of support for a candidate is shown when the candidate has a sponsor nominate them.
 

The AIA NJ Architect of the Year Award

Description of Award/Eligibility

This award recognizes individuals who have made demonstrated exceptional leadership and made significant contributions to the architecture profession. AIA New Jersey members who are in good standing and have been licensed to practice architecture for more than ten years by the submission deadline are eligible. AIA New Jersey members from any local section may self nominate or sponsor a candidate. A broader range of support for a candidate is shown when the candidate has a sponsor nominate them.
