NJIT Makes Partnerships In Infrastructure

2026 Infrastructure Forum

Greetings from NJIT!

On behalf of New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), we are pleased to invite you to the Infrastructure Forum, to be held on April 22, 2026, on the NJIT campus in Newark, NJ.

The Infrastructure Forum will bring together industry and professional practice stakeholders, government agencies, community leaders, and NJIT faculty and students to share technological advances across the infrastructure sectors and foster collaboration and support between the university and its partners.

Attendees can earn six (6) professional development hours (PDHs) by attending the event, with a nominal registration fee of $100. Government employees will be offered a reduced registration fee of $35 to attend.

The event will feature a number of discussion panels and keynote speakers who will address infrastructure innovations across industries, including water and energy utilities, transportation agencies, buildings, cybersecurity, and engineering, architecture, and construction professionals.

  • Representatives from government agencies and local government leaders who implement and oversee infrastructure projects at the city or regional level.
  • Representatives from regulatory agencies and organizations overseeing compliance, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Industry leaders, executives, and professionals from engineering, architecture, and construction companies specializing in large-scale infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, tunnels, public transit, aviation, buildings, urban planning, water, and energy
  • Representatives from technology firms integrating smart infrastructure solutions.
  • Executives and managers from utilities such as electricity, water, gas, and telecommunications.
  • Executives and managers from public transportation agencies.
  • Academics, professors, and researchers who specialize in civil, mechanical, electrical and related engineering, urban planning, environmental science, architecture, and public policy.
  • Think tanks and other nonprofit organizations that conduct studies and publish recommendations on infrastructure challenges and opportunities.
