  AIA New Jersey EPiC Firm Recognition The EPiC Firm Recognition, presented by the AIA New Jersey Emerging Professionals Committee (EPiC), honors architecture firms that demonstrate outstanding commitment to the growth and success of emerging professionals and young architects. This recognition evaluates firm culture and support in four key areas: Support for Licensure Leadership and Professional Development Career Advancement Opportunities Dedication to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion 2025 EPiC Firm Recognition Timeline Step 1: An Emerging Professional or Young Architect must complete the Nomination Assessment between September 30 – October 21, 2025. Nomination Assessment Step 2: A Firm Principal or Leader must complete the Verification Assessment between October 22 – November 21, 2025. This two-part process ensures a comprehensive evaluation of each firm’s support structure and culture through the lens of both staff and leadership. The Nomination Assessment will be available during the dates listed in the 2025 EPiC Firm Recognition timeline. To prepare, participants are encouraged to review the Assessment Preview in advance. Please note that the preview is a reference tool only—questions or components may be updated in the final assessment. This is an annual submission process – changes are made to the survey each year. Take time to assess, recognize, and celebrate your firm this year while starting meaningful dialogue that can impact the to next generation. Successful submissions will receive a certificate and graphic icon that can be displayed from January through December of the next calendar year. Eligibility Requirements The nominator must be either an Emerging Professional or Young Architect who is a current AIA New Jersey member in good standing.The firm principal or leader completing the Verification Assessment must also be a current AIA New Jersey member in good standing.The firm must be located in the state of New Jersey. Definitions Emerging Professionals are individuals who have completed their academic studies and are either pursuing licensure or within 10 years of graduation (Associate Members – unlicensed).Young Architects are licensed members whose initial date of licensure is within the past 10 years (Architect Members – licensed). |
