Equity, Diversity and Inclusion
Creating a More Inclusive Future in Architecture
The AIA NJ Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Committee is dedicated to fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect within the architectural community. Our mission is to promote equity and diversity in all aspects of the profession, encouraging practices that enable all voices to be heard and valued. By advocating for inclusive practices and addressing systemic barriers, the EDI Committee aims to create a more equitable future for architects, designers, and communities. We believe that a diverse and inclusive environment not only enhances creativity and innovation but also strengthens the impact of architecture on society.
