Join AIA NY for this training program developed by CalOES that provides leadership, advocacy, and training to architects who are interested in developing their professional skills for use in times of crisis. This workshop will teach participants to conduct rapid damage assessments of structures affected by earthquakes, wind, and water. It also teaches the appropriate protocol for coordinating with emergency managers to limit professional liability. This is a pre-requisite course to join the Department of State’s Code Enforcement Disaster Assistance Response (CEDAR) Program.
