Tour of Maplewood Memorial Library

Join AIA Newark & Suburban on Saturday, January 31, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. for a guided tour and presentation of the Maplewood Memorial Library expansion and renovation, designed by Sage and Coombe Architects.

Participants will explore how sustainable systems, flood-resilient strategies, full accessibility, daylight-filled interiors, and thoughtfully selected materials combine to create a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment. The tour will highlight both the building’s exterior and interior, providing insight into how design decisions support occupant well-being, environmental stewardship, and resilient community spaces.
