Mr. Rurik Halaby enthusiastically reached out to share his experience with a recent personal architecture project and hopes to invigorate others!
According to Mr. Halaby, “We built an addition to our Shelter Island house and added a solar panel. Since we did that in December 2023, our PSEGLI bill has been around $27 per month, even though the heating and A/C are electric.”
“We produce more than we use, and so our home is now generating surplus electricity for the grid! Feels good, plus it makes sense financially.”
