Historic Archives Committee (HArC)
Documenting Our Legacy. Preserving Our Story.
The AIA New Jersey Historic Archives Committee (HArC) is dedicated to documenting, preserving, and sharing the rich history of the architectural profession in New Jersey. As a vital part of the AIA New Jersey organization, HArC works to ensure that the contributions of our members, firms, and projects are recognized, recorded, and made accessible for future generations.
New Jersey’s architectural legacy is as diverse and dynamic as the communities it serves. Through HArC, we celebrate that legacy by collecting original documents, photographs, oral histories, publications, and other archival materials that capture the evolution of design, practice, and advocacy across the state.
