Mel Leipzig is an icon in the art circles of Trenton, across the state and even nationally and internationally. Even with his renown, he’s mainly just a wonderful person, endlessly curious about people and the spaces they inhabit. His paintings vividly document this connection between his subjects and the places they live and work. So it makes complete sense that some of his subjects are architects, whether regionally or even internationally well-known. Some of these evocative works of architects in their natural environments have been brought together at The Lobby Club in downtown Trenton. Opening reception is Friday, November 7, 5:00 to 8:00, The Lobby Club, 17 East Front Street, Trenton, NJ 08608.
