The American Institute of Architects New Jersey Chapter Historic Archives Committee is proud to present an interview with influential architect Past President Ronald Bertone, FAIA.
Almost 50 years as a principal/managing partner in architectural and design/build firms and as a construction superintendent for a General Contractor. Experience in various types of health care construction projects for federal government, state government, and private clients. Ron has testified before State Legislative bodies and the U.S. Congress.
Mr. Bertone provides architectural expert analysis and testimony regarding investigations into various building envelope deficiencies, the professional standard of care, and personal injury cases.
Ron was elevated to Fellowship by the American Institute of Architects, an honor held by less than 2% of the architects in the US. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Architects. He was elected national vice president of the American Institute of Architects, served on the Board of Directors for the National Fire Protection Association, and has presided over zoning boards, a board of education, and a homeowner association.
