The AIA NJ Historic Archives Committee Presents an Interview with Influential Architect Bruce D. Turner, AIA

The American Institute of Architects New Jersey Chapter Historic Archives Committee is proud to present an interview with influential architect Past President Bruce Turner, AIA.

Bruce D. Turner, AIA, is the founding principal of Bruce D. Turner, Architect. Mr. Turner has over 30 years of experience in the architectural profession, designing buildings for both public and private clientele using a variety of different methods of project delivery, including design-bid-build, design-build, negotiated agreements, etc. Projects performed have been for commercial, retail, residential, educational, religious, institutional, corporate, and industrial clients ranging in size from under $100,000 to multi-million dollar construction values. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame and a longtime and active leader in the American Institute of Architects, Mr. Turner offers a highly personalized, hands-on approach to project delivery for all of his projects, which, when combined with his wealth of technical experience and design sensitivity, facilitates positive outcomes for clients with projects both large and small.

From 2017 to 2019, he served as the AIA New Jersey Regional Representative to the national AIA Strategic Council and as the Moderator of the Strategic Council in 2019. He was president of AIA South Jersey from 2000 to 2016 and is the long-time and current co-chair of the AIA New Jersey Public Awareness Committee. Click below to meet Influential Architect, Bruce D.
