Course Description: Designing Indoor Pickleball Courts (1.5 HSW)
This course addresses the unique design challenges of indoor pickleball courts, focusing on air quality, acoustics, and lighting—three factors that directly affect occupant health, safety, and welfare. Participants will learn how to approach ventilation and filtration to support respiratory health, strategies for acoustic control to limit noise and reverberation, and lighting solutions that improve visibility and reduce injury risk. The presentation will take place inside an active indoor pickleball facility, offering attendees a real-world view of these systems in action.
