Eugene A. Schreiber, age 93, of Brick, passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at Willow Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Brick. Born in Lviv, Poland, he came to the United States in the 1950s and became a naturalized citizen. He worked as an Architect for Pfizer in Morris Plains, NJ before his retirement.

Eugene was predeceased by his parents  Anastata and Joseph Schreiber.  He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Mary (Szymanska) Schreiber of Brick;  3 children– his daughter Renee Melagrano and her husband Joe Melagrano; his son George Schreiber; and daughter Theresa Heess  and husband Scott Heess.; 8 grandchildren– Christina, Michael, Joey, and Thomas Melagrano, Aliza and Maria Schreiber, Lauren and Jonathan Heess; and 5 siblings– Henry Schreiber (deceased), Lu Wiencek, Hedy Piesch, George Schreiber, and Chris Schreiber.

A memorial mass will be held on Friday, July 6, 2018, sat 10AM at Church of the Epiphany, 615 Thiele Road, Brick, NJ http://www.churchofepiphany.org. Colonial Funeral Home, Brick, is in charge of arrangements.
