AIA New Jersey Education and Scholarship Foundation online portal is open for applications for award of 2026 scholarships.
The path to becoming an architect is rigorous—and often expensive. The AIANJ Education & Scholarship Foundation supports talented future architects to pursue the education and training required to join the profession without being limited by financial constraints.
Our scholarships support students who demonstrate academic promise, leadership, financial need, and dedication to the profession of architecture.
The Foundation provides scholarships annually and are eligible to:
- Students must be enrolled full-time in an NAAB-accredited or equivalent architecture degree program.
- Applicants must have completed at least one full year toward a first professional degree (Associates, B.Arch or M.Arch).
- Applicants must meet New Jersey residency requirements, which include:
- Maintaining a permanent legal address in New Jersey, or
- Being an independent student residing in New Jersey, or
- Being a non-resident enrolled in an accredited School of Architecture in New Jersey.
