rise in the city 2018 – an architecture competition for students for affordable residential housing in Lesotho 

rise in the city is a unique international architecture competition for students and recent graduates worldwide. The challenge is to design affordable and sustainable housing solutions for Africa’s growing population.
 
We have blocks are available for architects to sign up before the end of October.  The designs will be done by students and the role of the architecture firm is to critique the preliminary design online between Nov 15 to 30 – so it requires minimal time on the part of the architect. Should a company sponsor their block, then the architecture firm would also offer a lunch & meet with the sponsor company or a tour of building nearby that they have designed.
