NJIT Hillier College of Architecture and Design Seeks Jurors Immediately

Professor Caroline Grieco is seeking jurors from the AIA NJ community for a final review of their Construction III course work.

 From Professor Grieco:

“The course requires the students to create a CD set using Revit, so it is ideal if jurors are able to red-line a couple of CD sets created from Revit models. No Revit knowledge necessary, but would be much appreciated by the students to talk about BIM to practicing professionals.

There are about 65 students in teams of 5, so the projects are about 5000 square feet each. The students selected their own precedent projects, so no design necessary, they are creating a CD set from researched drawings and details.

Because of the large class, we have to split the final jury up into two days, if you are available either of these dates to review a couple of student CD sets and participate in a discussion with the students about the profession and BIM, please let me know, it would be much appreciated. Professor Grieco can be reached at carolinem.grieco@gmail.com

Final Review Schedule:

Tuesday, December 10th 9:30-11:30am

Friday, December 13th 9:30-11:30am

Reviews will be held in Newark, NJ, at the NJIT Hillier College of Architecture and Design

Hope you can join us! Please let me know if you are interested.
