Alexander Rodriguez, of AR Architects, LLC in Summit, NJ, has always had a fascination for the process of construction and the art of building. This has led him to a career in architecture.
His family emigrated from Costa Rica to give him and his two siblings the opportunity for a better life. Alexander continues to travel to Costa Rica and is fluent in Spanish.
Alexander attended the five-year accredited architecture program at Pennsylvania State University and in 1999 he received a Bachelor of Architecture degree. He was an Honorable Mention in his fifth-year thesis presentation.
After graduating, Alexander worked for Bol Architecture and Hoffman Architects, gaining eighteen years of experience in residential architecture.
Alexander’s work includes new construction, renovations and interior alterations. Here is an example of a front porch and second floor remodel in Montclair, NJ.
Mr. Rodriguez was licensed by the State of New Jersey in 2005 and has been a member of the American Institute of Architects since 2006.
