2021 AIA-NJ President Joshua Zinder, AIA, LEED AP, Appointed to the AIA Interfaith Design Knowledge Community

2021 AIA-NJ President Joshua Zinder, AIA, LEED AP, will take on a new role in service to our profession, having been recently appointed to serve as a committee member for the AIA Interfaith Design Knowledge Community (IDKC). The appointment recognizes Zinder’s continuing commitment to a major focus area for his work, which is serving communities of faith.

A partner in boutique firm Landau Zinder Architecture, which focuses on design for Jewish worship and gathering spaces, he also conceived and co-organized Sukkah Village 2021, a sprawling multi-day event celebrating faith and design across Downtown Princeton. Zinder will support the IDKC efforts to encourage and support excellence in design for worship, promoting discussion and exchange of ideas among architects working in related typologies nationwide. At the same time, he will continue to serve as Executive Board member and All Call Director for the AIA National Small Firm Exchange.
