The Architects League at the FLOW Green Film Festival – 2 HSW LUs
Join the Architects League of Northern New Jersey on the closing night of the 2018 FLOW Green Film Festival, an annual event sponsored by the Environmental Commissions of Franklin Lakes, Oakland and Wyckoff. We will be screening “Biophilic Design: The Architecture of Life” by Stephen R Kellert and Bill Finnegan. The film defines Biophilic Design as a built environment that satisfies a human need for contact with nature that is essential to our physical health, productivity and well being, and the film illustrates positive examples of Biophilic Design through interviews and through visits to over thirty separate buildings. Immediately following the film, a panel discussion will distill themes from the film and relate them to both larger trends in architecture and practical ways to apply them in our communities. This event is free and open to the public. AIA members who attend will receive 2 HSW LUs
