The Diane and Ben Lee Education Fund is created to encourage K-12 students to include design as part of their education. The fund could be awarded as a grant for schools or teachers that is actively pursuing design curriculum in their school or educational entities. It is to encourage students of all ages group K-12 to have interest in design as their life pursuit. The fund is offered to teachers/educators or schools/educational providers in the NJ/NY metropolitan areas.
The fund shall be managed by Architects League of Northern New Jersey. An initial fund of $20,000.00 is created by Ben P. Lee, AIA, in memory of his wife Diane, a former school teacher.
