“If I cannot do great things, I can do small things in a great way.”
~Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Every day each of us has a chance to be more thoughtful in our actions. Dr. Martin Luther King Junior’s legacy reminds us to be better, to do better, and to lift up our communities. Architects have a special opportunity in our work to do more than the code requires, to be more considerate to the environment, to accommodate more people in our design soultions. We may not all be asked to design a new capital building or international airport or skyscraper, but in every single project, big or small, we have the opportunity to do things in a great way. Let’s rise to the challenge. Architects can change the planet.
