AIA New Jersey Architect’s Storytime is looking for Readers

In an effort to introduce architecture and architects to the children of New Jersey, AIA New Jersey is embarking on AIA NJ Architect’s Storytime. Members can record themselves reading the children’s book of their choice that will teach or inspire the listeners about architecture and architects. Our content will be posted on AIA New Jersey’s YouTube Channel, across our other social media, as well as though the NJ Library System and by the NJ School Board Association.

So far our readers include:

Steven Lazarus, AIA, reading From Mud Huts to Skyscrapers by Christine Paxmann

Joshua Zinder, AIA, reading Roberto the Insect Architect by Nina Laden

LoriAnne Jones, AIA, reading Dream Builder: The Story of Architect Philip Freelon by Kelly Starling Lyons

William Martin, AIA, reading Harold and the Purple Crayon by Crockett Johnson

Verity Frizzell, FAIA, reading Julia Morgan Builds a Castle by Celeste Manias

Sean Cuddahy, AIA, reading The Three Little Pigs, An Architectural Tale by Steven Guarnaccia
