Reading Time: 2 minutesRoger’s leadership, experience, passion and energy for the architecture profession has allowed him to take on tomorrow’s challenges and move us forward through the power of design.
Roger has held a number of leadership positions including the Mixed Use Practice Area Leader, Design Synergy Leader and Studio Experience Leader in our Morristown Office. His collaborative style and unwavering pursuit of excellence has not only resulted in award winning buildings but he has developed a cadre of talented professionals. He is a quintessential teacher and mentor as he shares his love for architecture with our colleagues as well as the students at Weitzman School of Design at UPENN, the Hillier College of Architecture and Design at NJIT and the Michael Graves College at Kean University.
Roger’s impact extends beyond the thoughtful buildings he has designed, to the surrounding environment which provides elevated experiences for the people of the community. One example is the repositioning of three office buildings at Gateway Center in Newark, adjacent to the busiest transit station in New Jersey. Upgrading the public concourse and opening the building at street level will create an improved pedestrian experience. This epitomizes Roger’s belief that our cities can be transformed through the power of design.
Roger also provides leadership through service for the benefit of others. At Gensler he is the Global Race and Diversity Co-Director. In the community he serves on the Mount Morris Park Community Improvement Association, the Regional Plan Association and the Nature Conservancy. His commitment to service has been an inspiration to many of his colleagues.
