2022 NJ Planning and Redevelopment Conference Rescheduled to June 14-16

January 11, 2022

Reading Time: 4 minutes

Friends, Members, Colleagues, Partners, and Supporters:

On behalf of New Jersey Future and the New Jersey Chapter of the American Planning Association, we hope you enjoyed the holiday break and are settling into the new year safely and with optimism for what’s to come in 2022.

As you are aware, last fall our organizations announced that we would continue our co-hosted conference partnership and issued our call for sessions. The response was tremendous, and we have a wonderful lineup of offerings that were going to occur virtually on March 2-3 and in person at the Hyatt Regency in New Brunswick on March 4.

However, the health and safety of our conference attendees, speakers, guests, staff, and volunteers remain our top priority. In response to concerns from participants and the recent surge of cases due to the highly transmissible Omicron variant throughout New Jersey, we are proactively shifting the dates to Tuesday, June 14 through Thursday, June 16. The format will remain the same featuring two days of virtual offerings (June 14 and 15) and one day in person (June 16) at the Hyatt Regency in New Brunswick.

We, too, share in the temporary disappointment, but to launch registration at such an uncertain time wouldn’t have been wise for anyone.

We look forward to seeing you in June and are eager to present the 2022 New Jersey Planning and Redevelopment Conference! More details will be available shortly.

Sincerely,
