Mukti Bajaj passed away on January 6, 2023. Mukti was born and grew up in Thane, India. She studied Architecture in Mumbai, India and moved to the United States in 2000. Mukti had an amazing career as an architect in Jersey City, NJ. After working for Alan Feld Architect, Mukti formed her own architectural firm “Mukti Architecture” in 2017 based in Jersey City. In six years, she worked on over 650 wide-ranging residential and commercial projects. Her work and creativity were inspiring, and she will be remembered for her hard-working nature and uncanny ability to never let people down. Mukti had a bright personality and touched many people with her kindness, generosity, and affection.
More than anything, though, she will be remembered as an incredible family member and a friend to many. She is survived by her mother Kavita, husband Manish, son Yash, and sisters Nayana and Vidya, who look to honor her memory and carry on her legacy.
