The New Jersey chapter of the American Institute of Architects will recognize its service award winners at the organization’s annual gala to be held at The Waterside in North Bergen on Saturday, Jan. 7. The annual event will also install AIA-NJ’s 2012 officers and honor the winners of its design competition.
“These awards are given to architects, architectural firms and individuals for their accomplishments in their field and for their contributions to the community,” said Laurence E. Parisi, 2012 AIA-NJ president. “We look forward to the honor of recognizing these individuals, who have been instrumental in reshaping and revitalizing the built environment in which we live as well as in serving those in need.”
Jason Kliwinski of Lambertville will be recognized with the AIA-NJ Architect of the Year Award. Kliwinski is an associate and director of sustainable design with the Spiezle Architectural Group in Trenton, a leading sustainable architectural firm. Kliwinski recently served as AIA-NJ’s past president.
