USGBC NJ has been awarded an education grant for NJ business from the NJ Department of Labor & Workforce Development.

This enables us to provide fully-funded training for employees of qualifying NJ businesses for increasing expertise, as well as for credentials and/or CEUs.

OBJECTIVES:

• Upon completion, participants will have an understanding for the design strategies, technologies utilized and components of net zero buildings.

• Upon completion, participants will have an understanding of the current net zero building statistics.

• Upon completion, participants will have knowledge of the environmental impact of the construction process.
• Upon completion, participants will be aware of some of the environmental and human health impacts of building materials and strategies to utilize products with reduced impacts.
