It’s going to be an exciting and packed two-day event in Paterson, home to Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park.

The 2018 conference features an opening plenary discussion, “Embracing the Future,” with moderator Briann Greenfield and panelists Robert Guarasci, Randall Mason, and Bernice Radle.
June 8 educational sessions cover topics ranging from alternative strategies for saving historic sites, monuments and public commemoration, funding and sustainability for historic site managers, a walking tour of Paterson’s commercial historic district, and more.

June 7 activities include the “Going Dutch” bus tour of Dutch Colonial homes in Passaic County, a workshop on telling African American history, the Opening Reception at the Hamilton Club with guest speaker Leonard Zax, and for the first time as part of the conference, the New Jersey Historic Preservation Awards.

Registration is available for one or both days. Two-day package deals and a la carte options are available.
