AIA New Jersey Seeks Candidates for AIA Strategic Council At-Large Representative

The AIA National Council Best Practices Committee invites nominations for the position of AIA Strategic Council 2019-2020 At-large Representative

Each year, the AIA Strategic Council has the opportunity to elect as many as five At-large Representatives to the Council, to serve two-year terms.

For the 2019-2020 term, the Council is seeking, in particular, interest from individuals who embody points of view not already represented on the Council; for example, representatives from related professions, the public, governmental bodies, etc. See pages 9-10 of the Strategic Council Guidebook for more information on this position.

To encourage a wide range of nominees, components such as AIA New Jersey are invited to seek candidates.

Nomination packets must include:
1. A letter of interest from the nominee
2. Nominee’s resume (no more than 3 pages)
3. Letter of support from at least one 2018 Council member, such as our own Regional Representative, Bruce D. Turner, AIA
4. Supporting materials as desired
5. Total packet length may not exceed 10 pages

Deadline for submission to AIA National: 5:00 pm ET, June 28, 2018. Send all materials as one compiled PDF, in one
mailing/email, to Pam Day, Hon. AIA, at pday@aia.org.

Newly elected At-large Representatives should plan to be in Washington, DC, for orientation and a
Council Assembly December 4-7, 2018.
