On Tuesday, January 22, 2019, the 2019 Executive Board of AIA NJ was installed after the discharge of the 2018 officers. The ceremony was conducted by Regional Representative Bruce D. Turner, AIA, at the first board meeting on the year.
This ceremony is usually performed at the annual installation dinner but with the postponement of the event, it was conducted at the meeting instead. The ceremony involves the new officers accepting their duties, committing to service and the presentation of the gavel from the outgoing president to the incoming.
The dinner, rescheduled for March 23th at 6PM the Park Avenue Club in Florham Park, NJ, will celebrate the past president of AIA Newark and Suburban, the Design and Service Award winners, the AIA NJ firms celebrating milestone anniversaries and the new board. Tickets for this event may still be available. Visit this link to learn more and register: https://aia-nj.org/annual-awards-dinner/
