Dare to be EPiC

AIA New Jersey is looking for members who are interested in becoming involved within our Emerging Professionals Community (EPiC)! Are you an architecture school graduate, AIA Associate member, or AIA members licensed for 10 years or less? If so, we want you to join our community as we build relationships, develop leadership skills, and increase emerging professional’s involvement within the profession! 
 

2019 Emerging Professional Committee [EPiC] Vice Chair 

(term 1 year, then 1 year as Chair)
_Promote the EPiC mission at the regional level
_Assist the Chair with a monthly teleconference with the state EPiC Committee
_ Participate in one or more task forces chaired by the EPiC At-Large Directors
 

2019 Emerging Professional Committee [EPiC] At Large Director of Education 

(term 1 year)
_Promote the EPiC mission at the regional level
_Attend a monthly teleconference with the state EPiC Committee
_Lead a task force of Section Directors and other EPiC members focusing of Education initiatives of your choosing
_Develop educational programming / events for state-wide implementation
 

2019 Emerging Professional Committee [EPiC] At Large Director of Advocacy 

(term 1 year)
_Promote the EPiC mission at the regional level
_Attend a monthly teleconference with the state EPiC Committee
_Lead a task force of Section Directors and other EPiC members focusing of Advocacy initiatives of your choosing
_Develop Advocacy programming / events for state-wide implementation
 

2019 Emerging Professional Committee [EPiC] At Large Director of Service 

(term 1 year)
_Promote the EPiC mission at the regional level
_Attend a monthly teleconference with the state EPiC Committee
_Lead a task force of Section Directors and other EPiC members focusing on service initiatives of your choosing
_Develop service programming / events for state-wide implementation
 

2019 Emerging Professional Committee [EPiC] Section Director 

(term 1 year)
_Promote the EPiC mission within your local AIA NJ section
_Attend a monthly teleconference with the state EPiC Committee
_Participate in one or more task forces chaired by the EPiC At-Large Directors
_ Implement programming within your local AIA NJ Section

Please submit a statement of interest by e-mail to MatthewPult@gmail.com by October 31, 2019 (500 words max). Be sure to include your AIA NJ section in your letter. Although not required, we will accept up to two letters of recommendation (500 words). Those selected to serve in the positions listed above will be notified of appointment by November 29, 2019.
