Reading Time: 2 minutesOn January 11, 2020, AIA New Jersey members gathered at The Treasury at Felina in Ridgewood, NJ to celebrate the inauguration and awards presentation at their annual Gala, this year co-hosted with the AIA Architects League of Northern New Jersey.
At the event, Paul D. Rugarber, AIA, was presented the award for AIA New Jersey Architect of the Year by Service Award Chairman and Past President Kurt Kalafsky, AIA, and 2020 President Steven B. Lazarus, AIA.
Paul is the Architect and owner of PDRdesigns, an architecutal firm specializing in guiding the owner through the process of residential design and construction along the Jersey Shore since 2008. Paul is registered in NJ, NY and Florida.
Paul enjoys working with other business leaders and entrepreneurs to create a community where leadership and business principles are fostered through seminars and speaking engagements. He is committed to spekaing at events about positivity and office culture, topics he is a firm believer in for himself and his staff.
To emphasize his life philosophy, Paul produces motivational videos and podcasts which he shares on social media in an effort to build others up and strive for a happier life.
Mr. Rugarber has presented at the AIA Tri-States Conference, serves as an expert for Entre Architect and as a facilitator for EA Mastermind Groups. Paul has been featured in Design NJ Magazine and has written his own book, Architecture to Construction, an Amazon best seller.
