Reading Time: < 1 minuteThe Vineland Daily Journal senior staff writer Jospeh P.Smith did an excellent job properly identifying and giving credit to the AIA New Jersey member firm Manders Merighi Portadin Farrell Architects for their design of the new expansion project for the Millville Library.
For many years under the Public Awareness Committee chairmanship of Bruce D. Turner, AIA New Jersey has been reaching out and reminding news outlets, reporters and editors that every building has an architect. If they are writing an article or reporting a story about a building, the architect should be given credit. “While our focus is more on social media these days, I was pleased to see what I would term a success of our years-long earned media campaign. The architect’s name is included in the caption of the photograph for this story on the front page of my newspaper today,” remarked Mr. Turner.
AIA New Jersey hopes to see the continued coverage of this exciting public project being managed by the Cumberland County Improvement Authority. Read the whole article by clicking HERE.
